Information on choosing the proper size for your dog.
For sizing your dog please measure and get the EXACT measurements. If you can measure for the exact size I can make the dress proportioned correctly to your dog. No dog will fit perfectly into the sizing options and those are just a guide. Having the exact measurements ensures that you are happy with the custom dress and that it is the correct fit. I will not refund custom dresses due to the size being given to me as the exact measurements. Sizing when properly measured will be the fault of the measurer if they are incorrect and the dress does not fit.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG:
Take the following measurements snugly, do not add anything to the measurements for comfort, as I add room for comfort when making the clothing.
Neck: Wrap a tape measure around the base of the neck where the collar would sit
Chest: Wrap a tape measure around the body at the largest point of the rib cage
Waist: (for tutus/skirts) Snuggly wrap a tape measure around the torso between the rib cage and back legs
Length: STANDING POSITION-Measure the topline of your dog by placing the tape measure at the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Do not take this measurement while your dog is sitting, it can easily add up to 2 inches to this measurement.
